Empowerment Through Grief

Walking Your Journey of Loss

For much of my life, grief was something I understood from a distance—a concept I knew about but hadn’t experienced personally. That changed during my first year as a therapist, when I encountered loss in profound ways: the passing of my grandfather, missed opportunities for growth, and the collective grief brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. These experiences reshaped how I approached daily life and healing. That same year, I trained in grief therapy for individuals and groups. Supporting others through their grief while navigating my own taught me that the process is deeply personal and non-linear. Grief isn’t something to move on from—it’s something to integrate in a way that brings meaning and peace.

Individual Grief Therapy

Grief therapy provides a compassionate space to explore your loss—whether it’s the passing of a loved one, a missed opportunity, or a life transition that has reshaped your world. This process isn’t about “moving on” but about finding ways to live with your loss that honor your experience and allow you to reconnect with strength and meaning. In therapy, we’ll process the emotions tied to your grief, explore how it has shaped your relationships and identity, and find ways to preserve a sense of connection to what you’ve lost. Together, we’ll work to integrate your grief into a life that feels more whole.

    • You’re experiencing the loss of a loved one or a major life transition and feel stuck or overwhelmed.

    • You want to process your emotions in a supportive space.

    • You’re navigating how grief has shaped your identity and relationships.

    • You want to honor your connection to what you’ve lost while finding new meaning.

Group Therapy: Healing Together

Group therapy was where I found the deepest healing for my own grief, and it remains one of the most transformative spaces I offer to others. In these sessions, individuals come together to share their stories, build resilience, and experience connection. It’s a space in which the group will create a supportive, judgement free space to share your experiences, and support each other in exploring new tools for processing feelings of grief and building resilience.

    • You feel isolated and want connection with others who understand.

    • You’re seeking a safe space to share your story and emotions.

    • You value the power of community and collective healing.
